Automated External Defibrillator

This AED course is approved for subsidy by the HRDA / ANAΔ / ANAD. Automated External Defibrillator course certifications are issued and approved in accordance with government legislation in Cyprus.

Kalliopi First Aid Training AED training courses / seminars usually take place in a meeting room or conference room in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

To ensure both theoretical and practical elements of the AED course are enjoyable, interesting and effective, we use a combination of teaching methods including; Powerpoint presentations with audio visual / video elements; anatomical presentation aids; fun team building exercises; reviews of previously learnt first aid and lifesaving techniques and easy, practical team scenarios.  Coffee Breaks, lunch and rest periods are built into our programmes.

As we encourage hands-on practice of using an Automated External Defibrillator trainer unit and CPR on manikins, which involves a moderate amount of physical activity, it is preferable that casual clothes are worn, for instance ladies may find it more comfortable to wear trousers.

We provide participants with their own copy of course training materials and educational handouts which can be used afterwards as useful reference materials.  Automated External Defibrillator certifications are issued by us after the successful completion of all elements of the course and a final assessment.
