To ensure both theoretical and practical elements of the First Aid at Work course are enjoyable, interesting and effective, we use a combination of teaching methods including; Powerpoint presentations with audio visual / video elements and other presentation aids; fun team building exercises; team practice of first aid and lifesaving techniques and easy, practical team scenarios. Coffee Breaks, lunch and rest periods are built into the First Aid at Work training programme.
As we encourage hands-on practice of CPR on manikins, and the practice of other lifesaving techniques which involve a moderate amount of physical activity, it is preferable that casual clothes are worn, for instance ladies may find it more comfortable to wear trousers.
We provide participants with their own copy of course training materials and educational handouts which can be used afterwards as useful reference materials. First Aid at Work certifications are issued by us after the successful completion of all elements of the course and a final assessment. This First Aid at Work course is approved for subsidy by the HRDA / ANAΔ / ANAD. First Aid at Work course certifications are issued and approved in accordance with government legislation in Cyprus.
