Kalliopi First Aid Trainers / Assessors are certified by Cyprus Human Resource Development Authority (CHRDA / ΑΝΑΔ), to provide First Aid Training Programmes and satisfy the criteria for subsidy / grant aid.
This course can be taught in either Greek or English.
This course is available to small, medium or large size companies or individuals who work or aspire to work in the following industries: Hotels, Banks, Gyms, Public Swimming Pools, Supermarket & Shopping Centres & Malls, Schools & Universities, Health Clinics, Stadiums, Airport terminals, Bus Stations, Private or Municipal Lifeguards, exhibition spaces or any place frequented by general public.
To enable participants to attain the skills and knowledge needed to perform effective First Aid in the workplace in accordance with the current Cyprus Government legislation on Health and Safety in the workplace (Κ.Δ.Π. 189/2009).
The FAW training programme is approved and fully complies with the Cyprus Government Legislation which is in accordance with the latest (2015) European Resuscitation Council (ERC) Guidelines.
21 hours of practical and theoretical First Aid & CPR training and assessment; Certification in FAW; Training Materials; Manual & Examination; Assessment; Registration and Wall Certificate.
This course is designed to train and educate participants to understand the role of the First Aider and acquire knowledge in the techniques of confidently administering First Aid in the workplace. It aims to train participants to assess and act safely in an emergency and administer appropriate first aid. This course also covers first aid procedures using basic life support techniques and Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).

Identify importance of personal hygiene & protection from cross infection
Treating minor injuries (cuts/bruises/burns/splinters)

After successfully completing all elements of the course, participants will be certified for FAW for 3 years.
